万圣节（Halloween）简介

Halloween

Halloween is a western festival. It's on October 31th. During the 19th century, immigrants to the United States brought Halloween customs. These customs have changed over the years. Children in special costumes go from house to house saying "trick or treat." It means if you don't give me the candies, I will play trick on you! At last kids can get enough candies for one year. A common symbol of Halloween is the jack-o-lantern, which is carved out of a pumpkin.

万圣节是西方的传统节日，是在10月31日。在十九世纪，到美国移民带来了万圣节的习俗。这些习俗多年来已有所改变。穿着特别的服装儿童去挨家挨户做一种叫着"不招待，就使坏"的游戏。意思是如果你们不给我糖果，我将捉弄你们。终于孩子们能在一年中获得足够的 糖果。万圣节的一个共同的象征就是杰克邻花灯，这是用南瓜刻出来的。
