Duanwu Festival, also called Dragon Boat Festival, is celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar calendar according to the Chinese calendar. On this day People always do lots of interesting things such as eating rice dumplings and watching dragon boat races to celebrate it.

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. It's very popular.

The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice, meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings. They are very delicious.

And Dragon Boat Festival is aimed at commemorating a scholarly government official named Qu Yuan. He is a good and respected official.

All in all, the Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting!
