John：Do you like to shop online? 

你喜欢在网上购物吗？

Lily：Yeah. It's really convenient to shop from home. It also saves time. 

喜欢。真的很方便，不用出门就能买到东西，还节省时间。

John：I worry about identity theft online. It is easy for theives to steal my account number and password online. 

我总是担心网上支付的安全问题。在网上帐号和密码容易被盗。

Lily：That's not a problem as long as you use your own computer and only visit encrypted sites. 

用自己的电脑在信誉好的网站买东西，就不会有问题的。

John：What about counterfeit goods? 

网上卖的东西会不会有假的？

Lily：Well, some places sell them. So you have to be careful where you shop. 

有的是。买之前一定慎重选择。

Jeff：Life without the Internet is just too hard to imagine. 

没有因特网的生活简直不可想象。

Joan：What do you mainly use the Internet for? 

你主要用因特网来做什么？

Jeff：Research, email and chatting with my friends. 

查找信息，（收发）电子邮件，还有和我的朋友聊天。

Joan：And what did you do before the Internet was invented? 

那么，在因特网被发明之前，你做什么呢？

Jeff：I wasn't even born then! 

我那时还没有出生呢！

Joan：But many people in many countries don't have access to the Internet. 

但是在很多国家，很多人没有使用因特网的通道。

Jeff：I wonder how they send email then? 

我奇怪他们怎么发电子邮件呢？

Joan：They don't send email! 

他们不发电子邮件的！

Jeff：What!!! You mean some people don't have email? I just can't imagine life without email. 

什么！！！你在说有些人没有电子邮箱？我真是不能想象没有电子邮件的生活。

Joan：You are such a geek, Jeff!

Lily：Hello, my friend introduced this game to me, but I don't know how to play it. 

您好，朋友介绍我玩这个游戏，可我不知道怎么玩。

John：Well, this is an online game that takes credits to play. 

噢，这是款网络游戏，需要点数才能激活。

Lily：Really, how can I get some? 

真的，怎么才有点数？

John：You need to buy a card. 

买点卡就行。

Lily：Where can I buy this card? 

哪儿能买到点卡？

John：At the counter over there. 

柜台那儿就有。

Lily：Thanks.

Denny：I think it's good, because I can watch a lot of movies there.

May：What did you do in the net bar all night?

Denny：Chatted with some friends, updated my blog, watched some movies and took a nap.

May：Ah, you should be pretty tired then. 

啊，那你现在肯定很累了。

Denny：Yeah, I'm gonna go to bed. 

是啊，我要去睡觉了。

Denny：I'm going to the net bar. 

我去网吧。

May：Could you help me download some new music onto my mp3 player?

Denny：
