Tim：We're going to have a party this weekend. Would you like to join us?  这周末我们要搞个聚会，你来吗？

Maria：Great! Can I bring a friend along?  太好了！我能带个朋友来吗？

Tim：Of course. The more the merrier.  行啊。人多热闹嘛。

Maria：OK. I'll tell my friend now.  那好，我这就去通知我的朋友。

Lily：Brian, may I have the pleasure to have a dance with you?  布莱恩，能有幸和你跳个舞吗？

Brian：I’m so happy you remembered. Please come in and enjoy the party. Everyone is here. I’m sure you’ll have a good time.  我真高兴，你还记得我的生日。快进来，在派对上玩得高兴点。大家都在，我肯定你会玩得很高兴的。

Lily：Happy birthday! This is for you, Brian.  生日快乐！这是给你的，布莱恩。

Lily：Thanks. This is a fun Party. We should have a drink together to celebrate your birthday.  谢谢，这个派对真有趣。我们应该为庆祝你的生日一起喝一杯。

Brian：You look great. You’re absolutely glowing.  你看上去不错，绝对是光芒四射。

Brian：OK!  好的！

Lily：This is a really wonderful party.  这个派对真不错啊。

Brian：Yes. You are always popular with? everyone. And you look very pretty today.  是啊，你总是很受大家欢迎。你今天看上去很漂亮。

Lily：Thanks. That’s kind of you to say. I hope my necklace goes with? my dress and they both make me look as good as I feel.  谢谢。你能这么说真是太好了。我希望我的项链和衣服比较搭配，希望我看起来就像我自我感觉的那样好。

Mary：

There's a party this evening.  今天晚上有个聚会。

Tom：Who's treating?  谁请客？

Mary：Sam, I think. Will you come with us?  我猜是山姆。一起来吗？

Tom：Sorry, I have Korean classes at seven o'clock tonight.  抱歉，我晚上7点有韩语课。

Mary：That's too bad.  真可惜。

Tom：Have a nice evening.  你们好好玩儿。

William：How was Mei’s party on Saturday?  Mei 周六的那个聚会开得怎么样？

Susan：Oh I didn’t go. I stayed at home with my family.  我没去。我那天和家人待在家里了。

William：Oh really? What did you do?  是吗？你们干什么了？

Susan：We watched lots of television and films.  我们看了好多的电视节目和电影。

William：I see. Anything else?  噢，还干什么了？

Susan：Yes, we ate a delicious meal and drank some very good wine.  我们美美地吃了一顿，还喝了不少的好酒。

William：Well, it sounds like you really enjoyed yourself.  听起来你们玩得也很开心啊。
