七年级下册英语话题作文：描述自己或他人正在做的事情

一、写作话题分析    

本单元写作任务是，使用现在进行时描述自己或他人正在做的事情。

二、写作训练

假如你是李华，此时你收到了一封来自美国的表弟李雷的邮件，他想知道你的家人正在做什么。请你给他回复一封邮件。内容包括：

1. Where are your family now? 

2. What are your family doing? 

3. How are you feeling?

要求：1.邮件须包含以上所有要点，可适当发挥；2.文中不得出现人名和校名等真实信息；3.写作词数为70左右，邮件格式、开头和结尾已给出，不计入总词数。

三、思路引导

1. Beginning(开头）：引入主题

①我生活在一个快乐的家庭。I_______ _______ a happy family.

拓展：我的家人都在家里，我们在忙着不同的事情。My family are all ___ ______,and we ____ ______ ______ different things.

②过渡句: 让我来和你分享一下。Let me tell you about them./Let me share with you about them.

2. Body（中间段）：分别介绍家人正在做的活动。（运用be doing结构）

①我爸爸正在电话里和他的朋友交谈。My father _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ with his friend. 

拓展：他们正在谈论一些重要的事情。

四、范文

Dear Li Lei,

It's 7:00 p.m. in Beijing. I live in a happy family. My family are all at home and we are busy with different things. Let me share with you about them.

My father is talking on the phone with his friend. They are talking about something important. Look! My mother is cooking dinner for us. She is good at cooking. My grandparents are watching TV in the living room. What is my sister  doing? She is preparing for tomorrow’s exams. She always works hard. As for me, I’m doing my homework.

There is no place like home. We are all busy but happy at the moment.

I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
